JEE Main Marking Scheme
The maximum marks will be 360 for paper one and 460 for paper two. Each
objective type question will carry 4 marks for correct response and each
drawing question will carry the 70 marks for the correct response. Each
objective type question will follow by the four options, of which only
one will correct answer. The candidates will have to select the right
one among the options. 25% of the allotted total marks to the question
will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Where, there will not any
response against any question in answer sheet, the marks will not be
allotted or deducted. In case of two selections among the answers and if
anyone will find as correct yet, it will be treated as the incorrect
answer and will be punished with negative marking.
